I was surfing around MySpace the other day and a couple of things dawned on me. First, I realized what an amazing tool MySpace is, so capable of linking people from around the world based on their tastes in music, fashion, culture and even their personalities. Second I realized that not a lot of people were any good at making their pages unique.

So many of the MySpace profiles I saw were either boring cookie cutter versions of the basic page layout, or hideous hacked together flashing nightmares that showed no sense of subtlety or elegance.

I thought to myself: with all these unique and interesting people so eager to display their personalities for all to see, you'd think more people would care about how cool their actual page is. People dress with a sense of style to try and attract other people with similar tastes and the same thing is true with your MySpace page. You've got to learn to make your MySpace page reflect your true personality.

All it really takes to 'pimp your page' is a little knowledge of html code, but for most people, html code might as well be ancient Hebrew.
